Nucleus STEM Primary Outreach

Nucleus STEM Primary Outreach

To begin our winter STEM Primary Outreach series, we were pleased to welcome St. Andrew’s CEVA primary school to Northampton Academy to take part in the first of our workshops.  The pupils experienced two workshops delivered by Mr Swallow, Miss Duncan, Miss Saunders and Dr Fishwick.

During these workshops, the students were able to experiment with indicators and acids and alkalis as well as look at electricity and how our common household devices work.

The Nucleus STEM department at Northampton Academy will be running more primary workshops in the next few weeks there will be more opportunities in the summer for other local primary schools.

The following week saw Blackthorn Primary visit so enjoy similar workshops in Chemistry and Physics.
