Smartie Analytics in Maths

Smartie Analytics in Maths

During their maths lessons, Year 8 Nucleus STEM students have been doing a statistical investigation with a difference, using Smarties.

They started by collecting data about the number of Smartie colours in each tube, they were then tasked with calculating how many smarties it would take to reach their own individual heights.

They presented their data using various graphs and charts.

Once all the work was done - the students enjoyed eating the Smarties!
