Local Primaries Enjoy a Festive Morning of Science, Music, Drama and Dance.

We were delighted to welcome Lumbertubs Primary School, Headlands Primary School, Blackthorn Academy and Rectory Farm Primary School to Northampton Academy.

The students experienced a Christmas themed science show from our Director of STEM, Mr Swallow.  The show featured sparks, bangs and even elephants toothpaste.  Some of the students even assisted in taking part in a dissection of a lambs pluck holding onto the various organs.

After lunch, the students got to see a special advanced presentation of our Christmas Cracker. The Christmas performance from the Music, Dance and Drama departments.

The students really enjoyed both performances and embraced the science show with enthusiasm.

Mr Swallow said, "It was an absolute pleasure to welcome local primary schools into our academy.  All the students were a credit to their schools and I hope we were able to give them plenty to talk about on their return.  Next year we look forward to welcoming even more visitors to Northampton Academy."
