Nucleus STEM Lectures

Prof. Stephen Roberts – University of Oxford

Finding Earth v2: Automating the discovery of planets around distant stars.

Part of the Nucleus STEM Lecture Programme

Working with our university partners, we have put together a series of lectures to run throughout the year, offering the opportunity for students to engage with experts from a range of institutions to discuss various aspects of STEM subjects.

These lectures are open to all students at Northampton Academy to attend.

We welcome students and staff from other secondary schools to our lectures, which are free to attend.

If you would like your students to benefit from these lectures, please register your interest by completing the expression of interest form, we will then contact you to confirm your places.

All the lectures take place between 3.30pm and 4.30pm.  Refreshments will be provided for all students attending and will allow some students to get a taste of what university lectures are like.
