We were delighted to welcome Victoria Gentry, Joanna Canton-Long and Sam Barber to school to give a presentation to our Year 12 Nucleus VI Engineering students.

The day started with Year 8 STEM waiting in the school cafeteria, where Mrs Staff divided the large group into two, so we could separate ourselves for the minibus. When we sat down on the minibus, we smoothly made our way up to Silverstone - the trip took 30 minutes. We stayed in our groups and experienced two different activities when we arrived.

Sixth Form students presented a STEM lecture based on their recent EPQ project about artificial intelligence. The students talked about the developments of AI since 2010 and its presence in microeconomics and healthcare, as well as AI’s application within healthcare.
